I am Patrick van Kooten ,the creator of Pavako.nl. I lived together with my wife and two children nearly four years in Australia, close to Sydney. "Down Under" I have met wonderful people with all kind of religions. I also re-discovered "keep in touch" which is really true for some of them. No matter where you are, what you do a real friendship will never end..
Being back in the Netherlands is great, however Australia is my favorite "Island", for sure...
As a child I was already fascinated by technique. Playing with technical Lego for many years and later with the combination of Remote Control encouraged me to study Electrical Engineering. When I started with Model Engineering I was 12 years old. First electric powered model cars then speed boats and finally modelplanes.
I work in the Electronics Industry and have a great passion for technique. When designing my own Model glider I could combine my interest in Mechanical Design and Aero dynamics. The Parkflyer I designed, built and have been flying in Australia leaves me with heaps of good memories...
